There is nothing glamorous about being in a long distance relationship. Distance making the heart grow fonder, is complete bull crap, I tell you. All it does is make you crabbier, a lot more demanding than you should care to be and subsequently - unreasonable. And it goes for both sides.
The biggest villian is time difference. You can't humanly expect two people - one waking up at the godforsaken-hour of 6-6:30 in the morning and another winding up a long day at work to be on the same wavelength. Teething troubles or unsolvable issue? Yet to find out. Weekends are no better till either wireless router or SSN number make an appearance soon.
However, days here are whirling past. And did I tell you, I am 11kgs lighter as on today :-). So there are calls in the morning. Then office. Then a li'l' breather till 8:30-9:30 at home and then some studying till I doze of at 12 - 12:30. So keeping myself busy most of the time. And surprisingly finding myself less bothered with people in general other than Dodo.
Homesickness is creeping in too and while I never thought I'd face it - going home faces affordability issues. :( Sad ain't it? Met a guy who's parents stay in Ukraine. He was saying that even though he has money and leaves accumulated, he has no where to go. Felt kinda sad for him.
The weather in Hyderabad is mockingly glorious. But I am missing Mumbai rains and the view from my balcony. I do need to be back in that city to feel alive once in a while. :)
